What changed

From April 2026, all businesses that voluntarily register for GST must be on InvoiceNow — IMDA's nationwide e-invoicing framework. This follows the earlier mandate for large businesses and extends the programme to voluntary registrants.

What it means for your business

If you are voluntarily registered for GST or planning to register, your accounting software must be IMDA-accredited for InvoiceNow. Check the IMDA accredited solutions list before your next invoice run.

What to do now

  1. Check if your accounting software is on the IMDA accredited solutions list at imda.gov.sg
  2. If not accredited, contact your vendor to ask about their InvoiceNow timeline
  3. Consider switching to an accredited solution if your vendor has no clear timeline
